Hi, I'm Kimberley.

I’m an award-winning poet & author who has a thing for birds.

As a mentor to human beings in transcending grief, I help people reimagine life after loss & cultivate joy every day.

In both roles, it's about living with loss and being open to the magic of small moments. In the tiny spaces of our days—all those minutes we rush through—beauty and peace wait for us.

Why do we keep beauty and peace waiting?

Our senses, our ability to be aware of what is around us or within us, and our connection to the natural world, all root us in well-being.

It's free healing ;-). Simple, but often forgotten.

Let's also talk about the transformative power of giving.

In the awful times when when you wonder how you'll go on, it helps to remember that you bring to the world something that only you can give.

The world needs youReally, no kidding.

To give you, is it to live you. Life happens through you.

If loss or grief brought you here, my heart goes out to you.

If you feel very lost right now, well, that's normal.

Just know you can get un-lost and find your way back to your one-and-only, heartbroken-and-still-beautiful life.

.

Here's how I can help

This is a portable support guide that is constantly there whenever loss whispers quietly or screams loudly to make itself heard and to be dealt with . . . . Because of the words and exercises in this book, I am much more aware of who I am and what I can do with the rest of my life! I have hope that I didn’t have before.

Her practical advice about being present with daily rituals, and that grief is love that needs somewhere to go, touched my heart in a profound way.

Susan

This book gave a concrete roadmap of what to actually do to feel better and be connected. . . . In Yiddish there is a term, beshert, which translated means “meant to be.” I found this book as a way to finally reconcile losses of my father, sister, and brother in a way that allows healing.

“To be a witness to another's life is to be a sacred space. Yes, you and I are sacred spaces, holding the ones we love. With each inhalation and exhalation, we keep their stories alive within our own.”
