Talks & Media
Yes, I talk about death a lot ... also about joy.
Engaging in interviews and conversations on podcasts, YouTube channels, radio programs, as part of print articles, and via teaching at webinars and conferences are all ways I seek to support people living with loss and the lingering impacts of traumatic experiences.
I'm on a mission to open minds to the reality that almost everyone has the ability to tap into their own inner reserves of peace, curiosity, meaning, resilience, and, yes, joy ... not as goals after grief, but as resources to support you in the heart of grief.

Critically, I want people to know it's never too late to make the most of their one-and-only, heartbroken-and-still-beautiful lives.
Along the way, it's essential to dispel myths or misunderstandings about grief. Ultimately, it's about exploring the incredibly diverse ways grief shows up personally, communally, and globally so we can better support each other.

Returning to Ourselves After Loss
Dreams & Detours podcast, with Susan Montanaro
What hosts & producers say
Alyssa Scolari,
Therapist, Clinician & Host of the former podcast Light After Trauma
This episode had me emotional! With that said, I can't think of anyone I'd rather talk about such a difficult topic with. Kimberley is a kind and compassionate grief expert...bringing both personal pain and expertise to help us navigate the difficult journey of grieving.
Mark Mulholland,
WNYT-TV Anchor/Reporter
& Host of The UpBeat Podcast
Kimberley Pittman-Schulz was an amazing guest! Her thoughtfulness, openness, and insightfulness led to an inspiring episode that will be of great help to our listeners who are dealing with grief and hard times and trying to find joy again. She was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend her as a guest to others.
Sheila Rocker-Heppe,
Former Director with the Cal Poly Humboldt College of Extended Education & Global Engagement
As a two-time keynote opening speaker for our regional Women, Wealth & Wisdom Conference, Kimberley was awesome. She pushed the audience a little out of their comfort zone, bringing her unique blend of inspiration and humor—the reviews from attendees were over the top.
Telling our stories connects us to others & ourselves.
