Point of view

Accept the purples the night sky pours out over you, the stars, silvery pins holding it up, the way you think you are all alone in this life, everything falling down, or about to fall down, on you so that you might suffocate like a cat trapped in earthquake rubble.

Now let the purples, the silvery pins remind you how safe you are, tucked within the enormous tent of the universe that goes on forever, forever!, which means unending time, which means boundless space, and yet you are held tender as a baby shrew under earth, suckling in sweet darkness, or a bee sleeping in a blossom, petals softer than palms, unable to ever be lost.
